The WJHS Panther Update
May 12, 2023
Panther Families,
May is always a flurry activity as we near the end of the school year, and this year is no exception.
- We would like to give a huge THANK YOU to the PTO for a thoughtful and generous Staff Appreciation week, but truth be told, they have been spoiling us with treats and surprises all year long! THANK you for making us feel so valued and appreciated!
- We had our Spring Athletic Awards Assembly last Friday and recognized all students who participated Soccer, Wrestling, Volleyball, and Track. We are so proud of their accomplishments this season & how well they represented our Panther Pride!
- Over the past month, our PTO has done a phenomenal job with their RaiseCraze fundraiser, raising over $7000 and rewarding our students for acts of kindness! This past Friday, for reaching one of the RaiseCraze fundraising milestone goals, students and staff received a complimentary donut & drink, courtesy of Maris McIntyre of McIntyre Family Medicine and Just Sports Athletes. Students were also able to tape Ms. Quattrone to the gymnasium wall. Today, for reaching an additional goal, some students engaged in a fierce Silly String battle with a teacher of their choice! Thank you so much to our PTO, and especially our PTO President, Maren Graham, for spearheading such a fun and successful event.
