Big Brothers Big Sisters:
BBBS of Delaware County is hosting summer camps called Camp Oty’Okwa. There is no cost to enroll in these camps, but space is limited and some camps already have a wait list. Parents/Guardians can follow this link to complete their child’s registration. https://bit.ly/campotyokwa23
Campers can go to more than one week of camp. We would love to have them come to MUD (Morrow, Union, and Delaware County) week as their first choice but if they can’t attend that week please feel free to send them another week. If they attend a week outside of MUD week you would need to go to the Columbus office for transportation to camp.
Siblings are welcome to attend as well even if they are not matched. If a little is struggling to come encourage them to get a friend to sign up. They don’t have to be matched to attend camp.
Drop off and pick up to go camping and coming home will be at the Unity Community Center for MUD Week.
MUD (Morrow Union and Delaware) June 19th-23rd- Spend the week with us in the beautiful Hocking Hills exploring the amazing natural world at our camp’s property! Activities include swimming, canoeing, hiking, environmental education, team building, playing games, making crafts, and learning how to be comfortable in a new environment while making meaningful friendships with other campers. Create an account and then use MUD 2023 as their password for this week.
Teen Empowerment Camp – This camp builds upon our Adventure Camp and includes all the most well-loved activities of swimming, canoeing, hiking, playing games, and exploring self-expression through art. We empower teens to be the best versions of themselves through team-building challenges, providing experiences to meet professionals and learn about careers, and offering opportunities to learn important life skills that will help them build a bridge to adulthood.
Girls Only Week – This camp offers girls the best of traditional camp experiences, such as canoeing, hiking, fishing, and swimming, while also providing mentor-counselors to create opportunities for one-on-one bonding and team-building activities. Girls leave encouraged to progress beyond the everyday stresses of home or school.
Girls ONLY Camp provides campers with experiences that reflect the power they have to shape their own lives. The camp invites various female professionals to hold workshops with the campers and share their stories about leadership and careers.

The new program is called Dragonfly. This program will also allow us to move our electronic forms away from PRIVIT. Parents will now use Dragonfly to complete the required forms and register the athlete for a sport. Parents can get signup instructions HERE. Parents can also view instructional videos to help with the signup and registration process by clicking HERE. All information, including links to Dragonfly and the 2023-24 physical form, can be found under the parent information tab at piratesports.org.
