City High Update

The School That Leads

April 30, 2018

Dear Little Hawks,

Greetings from The School That Leads! As we enter the final month of our school year, the Little Hawks are doing outstanding work in the classroom, on the stage, on the playing field, and more. Thank you for catching up on some of our highlights in this week's City High Update.

Prom and Party After Prom!

Prom (for juniors and seniors and their guests) will be held on May 5 at 8:00 PM at the Hotel Vetro in downtown Iowa City. Following the big dance, our parents are planning a great Party After Prom! Here is information about that special event:

Party After Prom is happening this year, and students will not want to miss this $15,000 party!!! There will be delicious food, great music, amazing prizes, and exciting activities like human hamster balls, a rock climbing wall, swimming pool with inflatable obstacle course, a hypnotist, photo booth, and more!

All CHS juniors and seniors and their guests are invited to the UI Campus Recreation and Wellness Center on Sunday May 6, 12 a.m. - 4 a.m. This is not a lock-in, but students must arrive by 1 a.m., and may not return to the party once they leave. Register now by returning permission slips for the party and rock climbing wall (mailed to all junior and senior households) to the City High main office or by mail to the address listed on the form. We need registrations so we can make sure to have enough food and fun for everyone!

Parents, we need your help to make this a memorable event for our students! Many hands make light work, so sign up now atwww.SignUpGenius.com/go/20F0949A5AC23A46-great.
