Get Better, Get International!!!
Join our Seminar!
Do you want to contribute to improve the EVS learning reflection process? Are you working in EVS training cycle or mentoring EVS? Are you ex EVS? We would like to invite you to join our seminar where we would like to update the EVS learning notebook!
Why “EVS learning notebook! – Get Better, Get International!!
After 3 years of giving the EVS Learning notebook in all the On-Arrival TC in Spain, was possible to see, that little by little the use of the Notebook is growing but the tool can be updated, reformed and improved…
- Is this notebook the most appropriate way? what improvements can be made?
- Is the notebook making the appropriate questions?
- how can we increase the impact of such a kind of tool?
- How can we improve the support from the mentors?
- What is going on in other countries in Europe? Are there other tools like the EVS learning notebook supporting learning?
Main aim and specific objectives
Main Aim:
To Include "learning" as a key part of the EVS experience of the participants, and to improve the existing tools such as EVS learning notebook that support the learning reflection of the EVS.
Specific objectives:
➢ Improving the quality of the Erasmus+ KA1 European Voluntary Service projects
including “learning” in the whole project cycle.
➢ Increasing the awareness of the mentors about their role as learning reflection
processes supporters.
➢ Develop a tool that the NA’s, mentors and trainers can use supporting EVS in their
learning reflection support. A tool with open free use license.
➢ Increasing the awareness about learning recognition during and after Erasmus +
projects.
➢ Increasing the use of the Youthpass as a tool for the recognition in Erasmus +,
especially in EVS projects.
Expected Outcomes:
An improved tool that can support the learning reflection process inside the EVS projects in Erasmus +. A tool adapted to the needs of Erasmus + programme, a tool that include the role of the mentors, that is designed by a bigger international group of stakeholders: mentors, former EVS, EVS participants, and also people related with the EVS cycle training.
Approach
We will create a space in which the different stakeholders can learn and share different experiences related with the learning in EVS.
Participants would have the space to analyse, their own path about learning and EVS, the “EVS learning notebook” and other tools that they know or are using to support the learning reflection of the EVS participants.
We will create a sharing and producing environment in which they can practice, evolve, comment, test the best ways to improve the EVS learning notebook and to support mentors and EVS participants living this learning reflection process.
