Many thanks to all who were able to join us for our Midway Uno Day!!! It was a great evening!! Totally crowded and filled with fun Wednesday evening. Thank you, Uno and PTO!!! Thank you all for your support!!
This has been an exciting week of fun learning as we learned about the prevention of bullying and saying no to drugs. Thank you to our School Counselors and Teachers for providing this fun learning!
This is a BIG reminder that our Mustang Fest is on Friday, November 8, 5:00-8:00 p.m. It will be located in our staff parking lot. This is the most AWESOME fun in town!! Do join us!
Please note that on Friday, the dismissal in the front parking lot will look a little different as all staff will park out front due to the setting up of Mustang Fest. We are already working with daycares to adjust for their pick up in the 2nd/3rd pick up area. All daycares will be dismissed before car riders are moved. We do thank each of you for your understanding on Friday, November 8, as we safely dismiss students.
Have a great weekend! Read, read, read! Play and workout with your children!! Have fun!!!
Yours truly,
Jan Fickling

MENTORS NEEDED:
The Midway School Counselors are seeking mentors to serve some of our students. A Midway Mentor serves as a special friend to one student throughout the year. They meet with this student once to twice a week for about 30 minutes. Midway Mentors serve as a special friend or support person to help some of our students who need additional love and encouragement. If you are interested in obtaining additional information please get in touch with Chan Gray or one of our other school counselors.

Hello Parents! Our school carnival is fast approaching! Mustang Fest is a fun, family friendly event that the PTO puts on with help and support of Sponsorships from local business owners. Our teachers will work all of the games, inflatables, and booths so that we can enjoy the event with our families! We still need help behind the scenes. We need volunteers to help with Set up, Clean up, selling hats/bandanas the week of Mustang fest in the mornings, judging the yearbook coloring contest and hanging the pictures up in the school. Please consider volunteering! We need your help to make this event happen!
