Hello Northpoint families:
Spring is finally here! It is wonderful to see leaves on the trees, docks on the lakes, and soccer fields and baseball diamonds back in action!
In anticipation of multiage classrooms in grades 1-2 and grades 3-4 next year, we will be hosting two informational meetings on May 18. You can join us at 10 a.m. online via WebEx or at 6 p.m. in person here at Northpoint. If you plan on attending the in person meeting at Northpoint, please complete the RSVP or email hroger@district16.org for planning purposes. In the meantime, pleaser review our Frequently Asked Questions: Multiage Classrooms.
We have approximately five weeks of school left, and during this time we want to work in partnership to support each student in achieving grade-level outcomes. Please check in with your student to ask how things are going. In addition, reach out to your child’s teachers as needed. There are many supports in place to help students find success in these final weeks.
As we look ahead to summer, you may wonder about your student’s school-owned iPad. Students will once again be able to keep their school-issued iPad at home and return with it for the 2022-2023 school year. If you prefer our school to keep the iPad over the summer or you are not returning next year, you’ll be able to turn in the iPad to the main office. See more information in today’s newsletter.
Be sure to check out our calendar of Northpoint events below in the Upcoming Events section. A very important celebration is happening today – National School Nurse Day. We’re grateful for our amazing Nurse Tammy and all the ways our SLP nurses keep us healthy and learning.
Have a wonderful week,
Judi Kahoun

Outstanding School Fees: How to pay through Campus Parent Portal
As we near the end of the 2021-2022 school year, we ask that families pay any outstanding fees they may have acquired throughout the school year. Fees could range from technology to library books and music fees.
To check if your family has any outstanding fees and to pay for the fees, login to Campus Parent Portal and click on "Fees" located in the left-hand black column. We ask that families pay these fees by June 30, 2022.
