Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU to everyone that went out of their way to help me when I was having car issues. Ms. Rywalt for hanging out in the parking lot when we tried jumping my car, Mrs. Jones for passing along some mechanics names and numbers to help out, Mrs. Lee for letting me use her car to pick up my boys from daycare & waiting with us until we got picked up, Mr. Trovato for allowing my boys to rip through his classroom & use his phone charger, Mr. French for asking if I was okay & telling me to "hang in there" and Mrs. Ambrose for offering to bring me to work if I was unable to get a car by the time I needed one. Also to anyone else that sent me a message checking on me and the boys making sure we were okay. It truly is the little things that made such a huge difference to get through a difficult, temporary day. I am grateful for all of you! The DLSS consists of 4 days of professional learning available to all school division staff, with most sections targeted for teachers. Information regarding these learning opportunities will be conveyed later in the school year. This will be a great opportunity to support our growth as we move to a one-to-one school.
