JFK Weekly Update
September 4, 2022
Happy September
It has been a busy couple of days at JFK!
Teachers worked hard on getting their classrooms ready for students, all the faculty met to reconnect, we welcomed the kindergarten and first grade students and their families to the Open House on Tuesday and we finally opened the doors to all students in grades on through five.
We have had an awesome first two days of school with students, and are so excited to welcome our Kindergarten friends on Tuesday! While there have been some transportation pieces that we are working through, students have arrived and departed these first two days with smiles, positive energy, and great enthusiasm.
Thank you to all of our JFK families for your patience and support during our opening days, and we are truly off to a terrific start.
Sincerely,
Saundra Watson, JFK Principal
