What the Boston Tea Party Was
The Boston tea party was in 1773, it was where the colonist rebelled for the high tax price of tea and only being able to buy tea from one company.

The colonists rebelled by throwing 342 chest of tea into the harbor off of ships that came from England. The patriots did it out of anger of the high tax prices and only being able to buy from one company.
Boston Tea Party from a loyalist (Britains) point of view
The British people probably thought that the colonists didn't need to throw that many barrels of tea into the harbor because they thought it was a small problem, but the colonists didn't.

The Declaration of Independence states all of our rights and the meaning of them.

In the Declaration of Independence, it says that if the government tries to take away some of our rights we can make our own government
