Fraud
What is Fraud
Fraud is intentional deception on the internet for gain.
Phishing: Phishing is when someone sends out a fake email or message to someone to get them to give them personal or account information.
Retail/Auction fraud: Have you ever had those messages that say that you won a free trip or a cruise? That is retail fraud. Retail or auction fraud is when you buy something online but don't get it.
Work at Home: When people send out emails saying, "Make a thousand dollars a week working at home!" That is fraud. It's not true and that doesn't happen.

Avoiding fraud is pretty easy.
- Do not reply to emails with personal emails.
- Research the institutions that you are buying from, looking at. Look at the customer rating of these companies/products.
