She married John at the age of 19. Their true love has been an inspiration everyone who has known them. She often helps him with his political dilemmas and runs their family buisness. She is an educational leader and works female rights. Abigail Adams is voting for indapendence as long as our leaders "Remember the ladies". She is strong and demands equality for women “...remember the ladies, and be more generous and favorable to them than your ancestors. Do not put such unlimited power into the hands of the Husbands. Remember all Men would be tyrants if they could. If particular care and attention is not paid to the Ladies we are determined to foment a Rebellion, and will not hold ourselves bound by any Laws in which we have no voice, or Representation.”

Mrs. Adams was self educated. She had no formal schooling, and taught herself at home with her fathers formidable library. Her father, the town minister, encouraged this independence and self-motivation. The struggle of being a young girl pushed from the American school system has inspired Abigail to fight for the equal educational rights of boys and girls in this lovely country.
