This presentation will give students helpful tips to stay safe on campus and the steps to take in case of an emergency. It will include ways to improve situational awareness and how to interact when stopped by a police officer.
Announcements
Alternative Fall Break
- This is an opportunity for a group of 10-12 students to travel during fall break to serve a community through service. Take a trip to Detroit, Michigan from October 7-11 to volunteer with Focus: HOPE. Focus: HOPE is a non-profit organization whose aim is to overcome racism and poverty by providing education and training for underrepresented minorities and others. Service opportunities with Focus: HOPE include: volunteering in their food pantry, community interaction/clean-up, and volunteering at their walk/fun for hope 5K. The cost of the trip is $200.00 and it includes housing, transportation, meals, and a t-shirt. This trip is also drug and alcohol free. More information and an application can be found HERE.

- This month's Service on Saturday will be here before you know it! Make sure you don't miss out on the fun! Mark your calendars for September 24th for the first official Service on Saturday of the semester. You'll get to get off campus to help the community, make new friends, and did we mention FREE PIZZA?

Greek of the Week
- Nominate members from any chapter that show great leadership skills and create a positive impact in the Greek Community. Greek of the Week recipients will be awarded a certificate and a t-shirt!

- Simply look up the officer you need to get in contact with on the Greek Contact List and they will be sure to help you out, or get you in contact with Tom Coy, Interim Assistant Director of Fraternity and Sorority Life if needed.
