Stroke A Chord is a choir of stroke survivors with aphasia. Many choir members cannot speak but can sing. This documentary captures their inspiring stories of recovery and the journey the choir take in the lead up to their first public performance which was a sell out.
Introduced by Marion Melrose - leader of the Geelong Stroke Survivors Choir
Marion is a well known singer and theatre identity who survived a stroke 12 months ago. Marion, along with her partner Stewart Firth, will be leading the choir.
