Educational Podcasts for Students
A podcast is like a radio show with episodes. It usually is audio-only, although video podcasts do exist. A podcast can be only a few minutes long or may last more than an hour. They can be regularly scheduled or when the creator desires. Listeners can subscribe to podcasts, so new episodes are delivered to them when a podcast is aired. We hope students will explore available podcasts and listen to them on a desktop or laptop computer, tablet, or smart phone.
We Googled to find lists of some of the most popular educational podcasts and are highlighting a few that we found on multiple lists.
2. But Why?
A podcast for Curious Kids
On "But Why?" podcasts kids ask questions and are given answers. Does you child have a question? You can record it on a smart phone including your child's first name, age, and town and send the recording to questions@butwhykids.org.
3. Tumble Science
4. Short & Curly
5. Story Nory:

The Mustang Fun Run
Attention Mustangs! It’s time for this year’s Boosterthon Fundraiser! It’s a 9-day program that kicks off with a Pep Rally on Tuesday, May 9th. Then families will have time to get pledges for every lap your student runs (30-35 laps), and we’ll celebrate at the Fun Run on Friday, May 19th. With our big goal to raise funds, we asked the Fun Run experts at Boosterthon to power our Fun Run and make it more profitable, easier, and fun.
Students will also experience an amazing character theme, BACKYARD BOX OFFICE! It’s a movie theme all about making a difference by getting into character. Our students will learn from five REAL kid difference-makers. From inventors, to world-class speakers, to business owners, to world-record holders, these five kids will inspire our students to practice the five “Character Acts” and make a difference in our community.
So please help our school by reaching out to sponsors. Also, all families are invited to come out and cheer on your student at the Fun Run! Thank you for your support!
