Lead Learner's Corner

Hello Ridgecrest Family!

Happy Friday! Last week, I shared several things needed to have a successful journey. Last week, I focused on the need for a road map. Another necessity for the journey is nourishment. I'll make it short! :)

Nourishment - Sometimes in the journey, we can get tired and weary which can slow us down. Nourishment such as bread and water, is a necessity to keep ourselves strong to endure a long and hard journey. What is the bread and water for our learner's journey? It can be many things. New learning can nourish us and keep us moving in the right direction. We learn from each other through our conversations about instruction and the things we are doing that work just as much as we learn from a training. Support can also be nourishment in the form of appreciation and encouraging words to one another so that we know that we are not alone in this journey. Finally, we can nourish ourselves with positive thoughts of I can, they (students) can, and we can which will lead to an attitude of excellence in everything we do. What we feed our minds, will be produced in the things we say and do.

I promise to do my part and provide you substantial nourishment to get you through the learner's journey. Thank you for feeding yourself and others on your team and across teams the nourishment that will uplift each other and produce the strength needed to do all the things we have been called to do for children.

Have a wonderful weekend!
