9th Grader Shardae C. was one of 15 lucky girls to receive a scholarship last summer. Shardae received a $300 scholarship to attend the University of Rochester's Women's Elite Basketball Camp. As a result, she not only improved her basketball skills, but she got the chance to experience a college campus and meet coaches and players from the U of R, helping her to envision herself on a college campus in just three years!
Other students attended RIT's Smash Math Camp, Mountain High Adventure Camp, Dance Camp at Hochstein School, and the Hunger Games Camp by Writers & Books. Programs like these are critical to helping our students continue to learn and grow over the summer months, and creating an impressive college application.

To accomplish this, YWCP Inc. creates, implements, and supports innovative programs that educate the whole girl - academically, socially, and emotionally.
