A Letter From Your Teacher
October has arrived and it is full of mystery and suspense! We have many fun things planned this month, including: An Amazing Mystery Unit, Parent/Teacher/Student Conferences, Fall Break, and our annual Halloween Parade and Party! There are also multiple opportunities to volunteer in our classroom this month. If you are interested in helping with a novel group or with our class party, please let me know. We would also welcome any guest speakers who are knowledgeable about our Earth Science topics: natural disasters, the water cycle, and/or renewable and nonrenewable energy sources. In addition, if you would like to provide props, snacks, or costumes for our Mystery "Dinner" Theater, please contact me. As always, please email me with any questions or concerns!

This Month's Educational Focus: Mysteries Abound!
Our class is beginning an AMAZING Mystery Unit this month. This unit will incorporate standards and World Class Outcomes from all subject areas. I'm most excited about our upcoming Mystery "Dinner" Theater, our CSI Crime Scene Examination, and our inquiry into Mysterious Happenings in South America! Students will also begin their novel study groups which will focus on the genre of mysteries and my read aloud will also be mysterious!
- World Class Outcomes:

Science-
