6th Grade -
All 6th grade students have been introduced to our career exploration program called Xello. The students completed 2 activities to narrow down their career matches. One was Matchmaker, the other Personality Style. Xello can be accessed 24/7 through their gmail account by using the waffle and scrolling down to the Xello app.
Starting Monday, February 26th, students will receive a blue 7th grade scheduling form for the 2024-2025 school year. The due date for all students is Monday, March 4th. The form will be turned into their current Science teacher.
Starting Monday, March 4th, students will input their course requests in PowerSchool.
As we near the end of Trimester 2, please continue to monitor your students' grades on ParentPortal.
7th Grade- Our 7th Grade students input their course requests into Powerschool this week. I met with each student individually and guided them through the process. It is an exciting time to be thinking about all the opportunities available in 8th grade. Please keep in mind these are “requests” and we will do our best to honor them, but if there is a conflict in the schedule we will need to adjust. If your child did not turn in his or her signed green form this week, please have them do so on Monday so we can wrap up the scheduling process.
8th grade- As we are getting closer to spring & the end of the school year, please remember the importance of routine for your children! Everyone starts to get antsy at this time of year and daily routine is one thing we can control and maintain! Children thrive from routine.
