Throughout this week, and on Monday, November 12, we have had several different activities, programs, and special breakfasts occurring on our campuses to celebrate Veterans. We hope that you enjoy the weekend with your families and take part in the ceremonies that our city offers to honor our veterans. Glendale Elementary School Gator Express

The Glendale Gator Express is an opportunity for our school to “Help the Rest!” Two times each year, teachers, staff, students and families, load up two school buses with books and volunteers and head out to give away free books and ice cream! Glendale has teamed up with Jolene’s Ice Cream, and she follows us around to the many neighborhoods around town. The goal is to spread the love of literacy and helping others. This year, Glendale gave away over 2000 books and loads of ice cream to anyone who picked up a bag of books from the school bus book mobile on Saturday.
