INFORMATION FROM OUR MUSIC MAN ~ MR. ALCAZAR

In Music, First and Second graders are consolidating basic concepts such steady beat as well as simple figures of musical language (quarters and eighths) through movement and clapping songs. Third and fourth graders are singing two and three-part canons (rounds). Fifth grade is transferring songs to the instrumental ensemble (xylophone, metallophone, and glockenspiel) They will have an instrumental experience of various traditional songs from all around the world.
