We are entering the final week of the 2019-2020 school year. This is surely a year none of us will forget! Our teachers and staff continue to be grateful for all you have done to support our students throughout these past nine weeks. We could not have done it without you. Encourage your student to finish strong through our last day!
I hope you had an opportunity to review our Student Item Return/Retrieval Process [LINK]. Please email your child's classroom teacher if you have any questions.
To help us assist you as efficiently as possible, please do not arrive prior to your assigned time.
Report Card Distribution
We will be available via email to answer and respond to questions and concerns. Although staff may be available outside of these times, please be aware that responses to any communications received outside of these hours may be delayed. Thank you!
- June 18 - Last day for students
- June 18 @ 9:30 am - Virtual Promotion Video will be sent to 5th-grade families
- School Buildings Closed: All St. Mary's County Public Schools and Offices are closed in accordance with the announcement made by Maryland Governor Larry Hogan and State Superintendent Dr. Karen Salmon, that all Maryland public schools are closed for the 2019-2020 school year.
- Online learning opportunities will continue through the remainder of the 2019-2020 school year. The Imagine Learning platform will be available for student use through August 15.
Art, Music, Media, and Physical Education Updates from our TCES Specialists
Throughout the extended school closure, SMCPS is providing continuous opportunities for learning. This is not our normal way of doing business, so there are many questions. SMCPS will provide ongoing updates for these questions in this format.
SMCPS Update 10:
SMCPS is pleased to announce that beginning June 15 an online application process for Pre-K/Head Start will be open to determine eligibility for SY21.
SMCPS School Wellness Policy
Triennial Assessment Report:Schools must minimally conduct a comprehensive assessment of their school wellness policy once every three years as described in 7 CFR 210.31(e); referred to as the Triennial Assessment. The information, specific reports, policies, and regulations are available through our School Health Council Google Site. Please contact Michael A.
