Define Composting
- specialized type of recycling - recycling yard and kitchen wastes.
- biological process that occurs when tiny, microscopic organisms break down organic waste (plant and animal based waste) and recycle them to make new, healthy soil.

How Do Make a compost pile
- you can build or purchase a bin for your compost or simply you can build your pile on the ground.
- starting in on bare ground allows worms and other organisms to aerate the compost and to be transported to your garden bed
