Weekly Communication
Glen Lake Seniors, NYC Class Trip! What an experience! Thank you GL School Board!
End of Quarter 3
Please remember that all high school teachers provide out of school office hours upon request. This can be in person or via computer, but what a great opportunity to receive support.
In addition, we offer Flexible Instruction Time twice a week providing students additional time to focus on school work, missing assignments, receive extra support, or finish homework. This is a great tool to support self management and responsible decision making.
Testing & Assessment
Spring State Assessments are soon approaching. State tests are designed to provide important information on student knowledge and student career and college ready progress upon graduation. Federal and state laws require these tests.
Next week we will be conducting the PSAT 8, PSAT 9, PSAT 10 and for Juniors the SAT, ACT WorkKeys, and Science and Social Studies MSTEP.
Glen Lake will be testing the SAT, PSAT, and WorkKey assessments on April 12th and 13.
Seniors have no school on April 12 unless
asked by specific teachers to be here for AP or additional help.
The various MSTEP assessments are conducted by grade and will fall into a testing window between April 10th and May 19th.
More information regarding the Michigan standardized assessments can be found at the following link; https://www.michigan.gov/mde/services/student-assessment
