Student Computer Classroom Management Software
What is LanSchool?
LanSchool is software that allows you to remotely monitor student computers.
- LanSchool Teacher software is installed on each teacher computer in each lab.
- Reminder: Students may not use the teacher computers in any of the computer labs.
- LanSchool Student software is installed on each student computer in all 4 labs and on the iMacs in the library.
A Few Useful LanSchool Features
- Monitor student computer usage
- Send direct messages to students. (Ex. "Stay on task." "Get off of Youtube."
- Lock the student's screen- Blank Screen
- Broadcast your screen to all students. This is great for step-by-step instruction.
Prior to taking a class to a computer lab, please review the video tutorials and contact Mrs. Cagle or Mrs. Madison so that we can assist you with the LanSchool Teacher Console.
