Model UN for Interested 9th and 10th Grade Students

The Model United Nations program at West Valley, will be hosting a conference for a community of young learners who want to learn more about diplomacy and want to practice creative and critical problem solving in a energetic, engaging way. Our conference creates that opportunity. Participants will imagine, design and implement solutions to problems that arise in each committee.

Students will be able to choose between three committees at the conference:
Historical Committee: Rome
Sci-Fi Committee: Star Wars
General Assembly: Various countries debating various topics (climate change, Covid, human rights, drugs and crime, armed conflicts, etc.)

This is open to 7th-10th grade students at any FNSB school.

Please complete this google form and attend our informational meeting on Thursday 4/1 at 5:30pm via Zoom to learn more about this opportunity. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact heather.damario@k12northstar.org or 479-4221 ext. 46-239. Thank you!

Superintendent Search Forum

FNSBSD Superintendent Search Community Stakeholder Forum has a slight change.

The date is the same, Wednesday, March 31, 2021.

The time has changed to 5:30pm-6:45pm.

What is the Superintendent Search Community Stakeholder Forum? It is a virtual event designed to introduce the FNSB School District Superintendent finalists to our community. Finalists will introduce themselves and answer questions created from the stakeholder surveys on a community Zoom call. The event will also be broadcast on the District's Facebook page.

After the event, a recording of the forum will be made available to the public and there will be more opportunities to provide feedback prior to the FNSB School Board making their final decision on April 10, 2021
