Message from Mr. Elliott
I can't believe it is already December. We have been fortunate so far that we've had some nice weather...I'm sure it will snow soon, but we'll take it for now. If you haven't noticed yet we have new basketball hoops and some new 4-square courts on our playground and our students love playing outside at recess. Remember to wear hats, gloves or mittens and coats to stay warm.
Typically this month brings us our winter concert. Unfortunately that will look different this year, but Ms. Miller, our awesome music teacher, has been making some videos for each grade level that the students will be able to share with you. They have been working on rhythms and playing along with some popular songs.
While we don't have a concert we do have a FREE book fair sponsored by the United Way and Scholastic! Each of our students will be able to select and bring home five free books over the next few weeks. It's an excellent opportunity for our school community.
As always, thanks for all the support you give our teachers and your children. Keep communicating with Mrs. Roth and our teachers. We all know this is an unusual year, and I'm proud to say that we are making the most of it. Remember that winter break begins soon and our last day of school is Dec. 22.
Have a fantastic December and please stay safe and healthy.
