Pacer Athletic Club
Welcome back, Pacer Families! We know we speak for many when we say this return to school is like no other! It is such a welcoming sight to see our fall athletes preparing for the season and wish them all a safe and successful year on the field and in the classroom! Go Pacers!
Who are we?
The Pacer Athletic Club is an umbrella booster for all athletic programs at Lakeridge High School. We strive to enhance the student experience through excellent facilities and sports programs, celebrating student athlete achievement and celebrating Pacer Pride throughout the community. Our team consists of parents who appreciate the importance of high school athletics, along with our Athletic Director, Mark Horak, and Principal, Desiree Fisher.
What is needed?
Every year we ask coaches for feedback on what type of equipment they need to run a successful program. Here are just a few items that were requested for the 2021-2022 school year:
Wrestling: Assessment Scale $2000
Water Polo: Weighted Polo Balls $150
Tennis: Ball Cart & New Windscreens $200-$1000
Cheer: New Flags/Safety Boulders $500-$900
Basketball: hudl account (for film needs) $900
Dance: Game Day Uniforms $170 each
Annual Weight Room Maintenance
Common Question: Doesn’t the district pay for this?
Athletics are NOT FULLY funded by our district. The $300 fee to play covers coaches salaries, insurance, officials, transportation and overhead. All of the additional expenses to run athletic programs are paid for by fundraising!
How can you help?
DONATE: During registration we are asking families to donate $50 to support the PAC in our mission. This is a tax-deductible donation. The money raised during registration will go toward a variety of equipment throughout the year or toward major projects. Our goal is to fund for items that touch a variety of athletes.
Campus Tours
Fees are Paid at Pacer Pick Up Days or with our Web Store
Lost or Damaged Books fines can be paid at the start of school as well, and those charge vary based on the book's replacement value. You may wish to wait to pay these fines until school get up and running to make sure the book does not get turned in by another student. If you pay for a lost book and it is returned, we issue a full refund.
