Find “Santa”
A Holiday Scavenger Hunt
November 15, 2019
Greetings from the Rotary Club of East Jordan,
The holidays are quickly approaching, along with the annual Community Night in downtown East Jordan on Thursday, December 5, 2019.
As a club, we will again be organizing a fun activity for you and your family–and we hope you will participate! Stores in East Jordan have been invited to hide a “Santa” somewhere in their business, and you will be challenged to find the Santa hidden in each participating location. Simply obtain a signature or stamp from 15 participating stores, fill out your card, and enter our giveaway for $50, $30, or $20 in E.J. Chamber Checks.
Timeline:
After getting a game board (available at the East Jordan Area Chamber of Commerce Office, 100 Main Street), Simply bring it with you to a participating business, find the Santa, and have one of the store employees stamp your board. Participating businesses will have a “Find Santa Here” sign clearly displayed in their window or door, and the East Jordan Area Chamber of Commerce will also have a full list of participating locations.
• Dates of the game: November 15 through December 5, 2019
• Turn in your completed card on December 5, 2019, at the Civic Center during Community Night. Giveaway at 7:00 p.m.
This is our third annual Find Santa activity, and we need your help to make it a success!!
Good luck to all hunters!!

Cooler Weather Approaching
As the weather cools please be mindful that students go to the playground in the morning before school starts and also at lunch recess. Just a reminder to make sure your child(ren) are dressed for the weather so they are able to enjoy this time outside. This year we increased our lunch recess time to 30 minutes to allow our learners time to interact with their peers and play outside.
Morning Drop Off Reminder
Respectful, Responsible, Safe!
This coming week we will review library and classroom expectations.
