- SIT Leadership meets from 8:00 - 8:15.
- Grade Level PLC time starts at 8:15. Staff can use the time to work on 5D, MSTEP data or grade level tasks.

Monday:
- I am hosting a meeting for central office staff at 9:00. I will be touring them around the building before a meeting in the gym that will conclude by 11:00.
- School Improvement meetings: All teams will meet at 8:15 to review data.
- I will be attending an AIM meeting at MHS at 2:30.
Wednesday:
- Watch D.O.G.S. Pizza Night at 6:00.
Thursday:
- COT Leadership Team will meet at 8:15 in the conference room.

Weekly Notes (9-18-17 -- 9-22-17)
Monday:
- BIT #1
- I will be meeting with Shun and Mike from M&O at 11:00.
- I will be attending a portion of the Caring Communities meeting at MHS from 1:30 - 2:30.
- Lock Down Drill #1 at 10:00. We will be sheltering in place. All doors locked and hallways clear.
Wednesday:
- Cub Scouts will be attending lunches.
- Curriculum Night: I will start with all parents at 6:30 in the cafeteria. I would like to introduce all staff members and then release you quickly to prepare for parents. Classroom teachers will run your two sessions at 7:00 and 7:30.
Thursday:
- SIT Leadership: Rachel, Kathy, Linda, Dena, Megan and I will meet in the conference room at 8:15.
- BEST #1 in the conference room starting at 9:15.
- Meemic rep Paul DePillo will be providing lunch and insurance information to staff.
Friday:
- CAT BEST starts at 9:00 in the conference room.

- Staff members working the A-L and M-Z doors are expected to be outside in the morning making sure traffic is moving along appropriately. Keep the loop moving!

Weekly Notes (9-11-17 -- 9-15-17)
Monday:
- Stuart, Hornyak and I are at Oakland Schools for PD.
- I will be attending a district-wide strategic planning meeting at Lakeland at 4:15.
- Join us at Lakeland at 7:00 to support our Teacher of the year Dena Spurlock as she is recognized by the board of education at the first board meeting of the year!
Tuesday:
- PLC time! Grade level teams are to use our morning staff meeting time to debrief week 1. Discuss student data and/or 5D.
- Stuart, Hornyak and I are at Oakland Schools for PD.
Wednesday:
- Fire Drill #1 at 11:00.
Thursday:
- School Improvement Leadership Meeting at 8:15. Dena and Megan will share MSTEP data with the leadership team. Team chairs will dis-aggregate and begin to plan to take the information back to their team and tweak their plan as necessary.
- I will be hosting our first elementary principal's meeting at Kurtz in our music room.
- I have my John Tavernier meeting immediately following our principal's meeting at Kurtz.

Notes:
- Thank you for your work during drop off and dismissal. Remember, all students must be in their designated locations when the bell rings at 4:07. We want students into their routines as quickly as possible.
- Remember, staff members are "in charge" at the end of the day. Safeties are there to assist only!! Classroom teachers should all lead their students all the way to the buses at the end of the day.
- When dismissing to parents at the front (by the gym) or back (in the cafeteria) doors, remember to release children to their parent or guardian(s) only. Ask the child and make sure to make a connection with the adult that is picking up.
- BIT #1 is coming up on the 18th.
- Done with your 5D self assessment? Consider signing up for your pre-inquiry meeting with me in my Google Calendar. Remember to invite me on the right! Meetings will take place the first and second weeks of October.
