Payroll Issues
Here is the Payroll FAQ in the HST Handbook that also includes the pay stub codes.
Enrollment Clarification
When a family reaches STEP 5 of the REG-Online application process, they will be prompted by the system to save / print a PDF confirmation. This does not mean that the registration is fully complete, or that the student is enrolled. This Step 5 simply indicates the family has filled out the necessary fields, and a team member will verify the information / documents / signatures soon.
If any item requires revision, we ask the family to make the necessary changes before submitting the application once again. Please guide families to our video tutorial and how to enroll page to avoid common mistakes that delay the enrollment process.
School Accountability
Household Data Collection Forms: School Pathways created a new Report Title called, HDC Forms. Please upload all paper HDC Forms into this Report Title moving forward. If you were unable to view your HDC Form in the Annual NSLP Report Title, it is probably because it was uploaded into the HDC Form Report Title automatically.

SIS Update
Call to Action: HST’s please ask your families to review the information for their student(s) in the Parent Portal when they log in to claim attendance. Is the grade level correct? Are the classes correct? Check the transcript? A quick review can save time and heartache later. Parent Directions on how to submit attendance and HDC (NSLP) Video (HS Handbook 2.15) FAQ: When I see this at Teachers>Login, what does it mean?
Answer: Families that use Reg-Online to enroll with Inspire, create a Reg-Online Household. This is only valid and applicable to the specific scope the family registered in at the beginning and if a scope change occurs, the student is not attached to a household in the new scope. Unless the parent re-creates another Reg-Online account in the new scope, the student will not be attached to a household. This is why all parents have access to the Parent Portal, regardless of whether there is an active Reg-Online account in the scope. Families will be able to complete the Household Data Collection form through Parent Portal with or without being attached to a household.
SIS Email: Our team is so excited to have you using our new sis@inspireschools email. We hope that you feel satisfied with the results you are getting. Something that would help us to improve our service is when staff emails our department about a student, we ask you to include:
Scope
Student Local ID
And when you are experiencing an issue, include a snippet of the error message.
Curriculum Updates
Thank you for your patience in this busy season. All high school textbooks ordered prior to Wednesday, September 12 were packaged for shipping by Friday, September 14 and mailed on or before Monday, September 17.
All curricula orders through September 13 for high school, will be fulfilled by September 17.
If your student has a high school outstanding online order or did not receive a textbook (outside of World History-more have been ordered), please reach out to Megan Workman at megan@inspireschools.org.
Most TK-8 Online Curriculum orders are processed if ordered by early September. TK-8 McGraw-Hill Textbooks will be shipping out this week, as we complete the HS shipments. Please be sure you have given your TK-8 students their access to the online versions of McGraw-Hill content, if you have not already. Directions to do this can be found here.
StrongMind MS HQT Update
As we have embarked on this new adventure of MS HQTs for our StrongMind courses, we wanted to clarify a little bit about the roles that these MS Support Teachers will be playing.
What they are/do:
Teacher for the specific course
Grade assignments, discussions, etc
Unlock students who are locked out
Follow up on progress with students, to make sure they are working
Provide weekly office hours to assist students with questions about the content
Pull work samples for students every other month (Math and Sci – odd LPs, ELA and Hist – even LPs)
What they are not/don’t do:
They are not…
...a tutor to help the student with the entire course
...an online teacher, teaching the students through their daily lessons
...tech support for every issue that arises (although they may be able to troubleshoot some minor, more common issues)
...teacher of record for these courses, and therefore will not be assigning final grades or doing the report cards
