During the month of February we celebrate Black History month!

Black History Month is an annual celebration of achievements by African Americans and a time for recognizing their role in U.S. history.

There will be NO SCHOOL for students on Wednesday, February 3rd as HSI will be conducting Parent/Teacher conferences on this day.


Conference will run from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm.

HSI is having a big sale on our red school uniforms! You can order online on our website hsiaustin.harmonytx.org under "Parents"->"Uniforms" and pick up in our front office.
1-2 shirts is $7.50 each!
3-5 shirts is $6.00 each!
6+ shirts is $5.00 each!

Campus Reminders

For students who are attending F2F, 2nd semester arrival will begin at 7:45 to 8:10 am and dismissal will begin at 2:55 pm and end at 3:30 pm.


All students, both remote and F2F, will begin classes at 8:10 for academic practice on software.

Kinder-2nd: Students will complete 20 minutes on iRead or RAZ Kids and 20 minutes on Dreambox.

3rd-5th: Students will complete 20 minutes on RAZ Kids and 20 minutes on ALEKS.

Home Visit Requests from Families!

Home visitations by teachers get parents involved in their child's education, and let parents and children know how much teachers care! They are a vital part of building relationships between families and school staff.


Teachers will visit with their students and parents/guardians through Zoom to get to know each other and share information about upcoming events for our campus.

To request a 30 minute Home-Visit, complete this form with at least 3 optional dates that may work for you and your family and we will confirm a date and time to meet. (You can also schedule directly with your child's teacher)

NEW FOOD DISTRIBUTION SCHEDULE AND POLICIES

Dear Parents/Guardians,


During the school closure last spring and over the summer months, Harmony offered meals to all children ages 18 and under in the community. Meals were distributed at select schools at no charge.


HSI will distribute meals on Monday (for Monday & Tuesday) and Wednesday (for Wednesday, Thursday & Friday) between 10:00am and 11:00am.


Meals will only be provided to students who are enrolled at that school and ID is needed if students are not in the car. If you have children enrolled in multiple Harmony schools, you will need to visit each campus to pick up meals. For every day in the distribution cycle, your child may choose which days they would like a breakfast and/or lunch meal. A choice of milk is available, but they are not required to take it. If your child has special dietary needs, visit the school website to download the Special Dietary Accommodations form and have it completed and signed by a licensed medical authority.

NUEVO PROGRAMA Y REGLAS DE DISTRIBUCIÓN DE ALIMENTOS

Durante el cierre de la escuela la primavera pasada y durante los meses de verano, Harmony ofreció comidas a todos los niños menores de 18 años en la comunidad. Las comidas se distribuyeron en escuelas selectas sin cargo.

HSI distribuirá comidas los lunes (para lunes y martes) y miércoles (para miércoles, jueves y viernes) entre las 10:00 am y la 11:00 am.

Las comidas solo se proporcionarán a los estudiantes que estén inscritos en esa escuela y se necesita una identificación si los estudiantes no están en el automóvil.
