Book Fair - Important Info

Our Spring Book Fair is April 17 - 21. We will be open from 7:30 - 3:30 each day and will close at 12:30 on Friday. We will also be open during lunch time for "Lunch with a Loved One". Consider having lunch with your child during the Book Fair and then stopping by to pick out some books for summer reading.

We will also be open Thursday night, the 20th, from 5:30 - 6:30 before the PTA meeting. Volunteers are needed for our fair. Please visit the Signup Genius below to sign up for a time to help. Thanks for volunteering.

Hand Washing

Several types of illness are spreading causing heavy absences. We urge students to wash hands multiple times a day but we would appreciate the conversation happening at home as well!

High Absences

We have seen an increase in absences in the last few weeks and this has been concerning for us. Of course, we understand if there is an illness.

If you need to schedule an appointment, we ask that you try to schedule it after school or during 10:00-12:00, which is our specials/recess/lunch block. Please reconsider scheduling any vacations that will keep your child out of school any time in the next few weeks. STAAR testing is in early May and these next few weeks are crucial in getting them prepared and confident with the test. Thank you!

Grit.

We love the definition of grit in the Merriam-Webster dictionary. It is what we strive to instill in your children each and every day!
