Here are our upcoming events & educational opportunities:
There is a free lecture on Supporting Families after the loss of a Baby, With Dr. Peter Barr. March 27th from 7-9pm at King's College, Labatt Hall 105B. There is free parking for attendees.
If I haven't received your Volunteer Self-Assessment to date I will be calling and requesting that you complete that over the phone with me.
April 1st at 4:45pm we will be having a meeting at the Resource Centre for upcoming fund raisers, (Hike Pledge sheets are ready to pick up) so if you are interested in helping out at any of these please RSVP to Lynn at lynn.serenityhh@gmail.com
I am excited to announce the date for our up coming free Grief Peer Support Training with Nell! The first training session will be Saturday April the 12th, please RSVP to me at erich.serenityhh@gmail.com for location and times. This is a one day training with a four hour commitment. Seats are very limited.
We also have a Mental Health First Aid Workshop May 12th & 13th (Monday and Tuesday) from 9am-4pm. This will be held at Algoma University- St.Thomas Extension second floor. Attendees have already been signing up to please be sure to put your name in, there will be a fee based on number of participants so the more the merrier! (And cheaper too!)
I am organizing a Reiki Practitioner (Level One) training in May, so for those who are interested please contact me.
In June we will be have our Volunteer Pot-luck, and Alicia and Jane will be assessing our personalities through our colours! Are you a blue?
