Panda Post
Issue #6
Classroom News
I apologize for the delayed Panda Post this week! I am in the process of moving and I didn't have internet until today.
Our air conditioning has been on the fritz for the last couple of weeks, so please be sure your children are dressing appropriately for this! Even though it's fall, boots and sweaters are not needed in the classroom or outside for playtime.
We are continuing to work on Place Value in math. Please practice reading large numbers (ex. for the number 7642, saying the words "seven thousand, six hundred, forty-two")
We will also be working on some social skills this week. If you are looking for conversation starters with your child about their school day, ask them questions like "What did you do to help someone today?" or "How did you make someone else feel good?" or "Tell me about the ways you followed the rules today".
As a reminder, our rules are:
1. Be safe and calm
2. Be polite and respectful
3. Be responsible, even when no one is looking
