Fourth Grade AIM

This week in AIM

Today was all business. Literally. We spent the entire day working on Rocket Launcherz (kids like anything that ends in a z). Our production line struggled a little bit with understanding the importance of using the product specs to ensure consistency but once that was understood we were able to produce our product at a relatively fast pace.

Our marketing department approved our logo and we filmed a portion of our first commercial with the drone.

Our launch date is still fluid (depending on production) but we are HOPING to have a little stand at the Watters Crossing neighborhood garage sale. The money raised from our business will be used to help Hurricane Harvey. More details will be forthcoming….

With the last couple of minutes of the day I introduced them to my new math challenge wall. The puzzles on the wall LOOK easy but they quickly realized that it required a lot of thinking to solve them. Several wanted to learn new math skills so they could complete the harder puzzles, I was able to give a few mini lessons and will circle back next week .
