My name is Sharon Cardia and I have been teaching since 2001. It was my first year teaching 7th grade history in Bogota, New Jersey where I grew up and went to high school. I was wondering how to approach September 11th with my class, I couldn't believe I had to discuss this reality. Interesting story: I met 2 students recently who I taught that year at Houston's Restaurant and they remembered the lecture I was giving right before I informed them about what was going on. I always had a passion to learn technology, and decided to change positions and teach computers and language arts in Pompton Lakes. I did so for about 6 years and then decided to stay home with my children (they are 15 months apart) I loved being home, so I resigned. 3 years later, I found a Multimedia position in Parsippany and decided to go back to work. I love the elective and feel very fortunate to have this position. I have been there for 5 years, and just recently obtained my Supervisory (last month) So, I am very excited that I accomplished another stepping stone in my life and wonder what will be next! I look forward to meeting you. Thanks for the new program "SMORE". I never heard of it until now, so I have a feeling you will be a very useful source of knowledge. Welcome to our team and school:)
My family loves to travel (especially to Disney in the summer), and eating out! Drew and Dean have a passion for Math and Spelling, constantly on Words with Friends! Technology favorite among the boys-Kindle.
