Mrs. Chesworth's Fourth Grade Class
Week of March 21, 2016
Reading
We are working on short reading passages and using text evidence to support our answers. We will not be doing a longer story this week due to the shorter week. There are no spelling words and no test this week. Please remember to read every day over break-I will be sending home a reading log.
Writing
I will be sending home a few writing samples for students to do over spring break. The goal is for each student to work on some writing each day. Let me know if you have any questions/concerns:)

MPE is one of the locations that you may go to cast your vote. You must be a resident of BSD. More details can be found at https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=http-3A__electionsncc.delaware.gov_Brandywine_br-5Fref.shtml&d=CwIFAg&c=DGYIV7x3cSzfJxnLcx-BeqhepWcu1bx4JZ4-8hMr-34&r=GqLGg1OE1WSFnNeKKP6cMQ&m=4TxihSt7gBHP4X0itkLOJeabUMzeET9ny8jiycJJA20&s=gwtiqriqDClvddrcseBk8aXid-5Zgy_IgzBqaLSNz1g&e=
Please let us know if you are available to help hand out flyers to the car line on Tuesday afternoon (3/22) by sending an email to ptampe@yahoo.com. The postcards will have details about where to vote. I need to let the district know by tomorrow morning if we have volunteers available. We only need 3-4 people starting at approximately 3:15 pm.
We will be holding a spirit night on the last day of Spring Break. The Chuck E Cheese fundraiser will be held on Friday April 1st from 3-9pm. MPE PTA receives 15% of all sales during this event. Look for the Flyer with coupons and sticker for free tokens which will be sent home this week. Also teachers bring your school id and get a free individual pizza or all-you-can-eat salad bar and a drink for free.
We hope everyone has a great spring break and hope to see you at one of the remaining events for the year.
