Hello February!

Week of February 1-5

"Save Around" Coupon Book Fundraiser

Your child brought home a school-wide fundraising opportunity called "Save Around." This was formerly known as "Enjoy the City"fundraising coupon book. You have three options for participating. You may purchase a book ($20) and sell orders to family and friends, only purchase one book (send in the money and keep the book), or choose to return the book because you would rather not purchase it. Please indicate on the form stapled to the packet which option you are choosing. The orders and money are due back February 16. Please realize that the book is not FREE. You are responsible for the payment or safe return of the coupon book. Thanks for helping to support Bath Elementary School.

Mileage Club

The Mileage Club sign up forms also came home on Friday. Mileage Club is an opportunity to walk or run during the lunch recess time. Students earn a Toe Token (brightly colored shoelace charm) for every five miles logged up to 20 miles! Students that walk/run 20 miles or more earn a specially designed water bottle. Please sign up your child by going on-line. It takes about 10 minutes and is the easiest way to get registered. The deadline to register is March 7. The class that has all students registered first gets a Fresh Fruit Party with Mr. Saylor!

Third Grade Post Office

The annual 3rd Grade Post Office will be open in just a few short weeks (Feb. 8-11). More details on times will follow, but here are some things to keep in mind:

  • Room 210 will need volunteers for the morning February 11 to help monitor and assist the sellers. If you are available, please let me know.
  • We welcome any donations of pretzels, fruit snacks, goldfish, and animal crackers to sell in our snack sacks. Your donation will allow us to have a greater profit to donate to our fundraiser for Annie's BIG Nature lesson and the Voyageur Encampment. Please identify those things that are peanut free on the food label.

The Cupid Shuffle

The Cupid Shuffle (previously known as the Daddy Daughter Dance) will be held on Wednesday, February 17, at the Bath High School Cafeteria. The dance is from 6:00-8:00 PM and will cost $20 per family. Tickets can be purchased in the Elementary Office between February 8-17 and at the door. This event is hosted by the Bath High School Student Government.

Carnation Sale
