NEW CHANGES SINCE THE LAST NEWSLETTER!!!!
Christmas Program Details: As you know, the TES Christmas Show is the hottest show in town! We draw record crowds and are at max capacity for this event. Because of this, we have had to look at our safety plan for dismissal. Below are the details of our show. Thank you in advance for respecting these guidelines and helping this be an nice event for everyone. Our students will not be performing from the bleachers as they did last year. We will coordiniate transitions to risers and there will also be special performances throughout the program. As each grade level completes their portion of the program, they will exit the gym and return to their classrooms. We ask that you remain in the gym for the entire program, so we can transition smoothly without disruption to our special performance. The teachers have worked very hard to make this a wonderful show which includes all students while also keeping the program within a reasonable timeframe. We know you will enjoy the entire show, so please stick with us until the end. Following the program, we ask that one parent go to the classrooms to sign students out. Other fans and family members may wait in the gym or the lobby. This will keep the congestion down in the hallway, so we have a safe or more orderly dismissal. Thank you for your understanding and your help!
AR Reward: On 12/20, students who have met their semester AR goal will be invited to participate in our AR reward. There will be bounce houses and play in the gym. Encourage your child to keep reading!
Jewelry Design Contest: Ellis Jewelers is holding their annual Jewelry Design Contest again. A truly beautiful piece of jewelry combines nature's most splendid handiwork with vision and artistic creativity. You are invited to become the designer. There are 3 age groups: Grade 3-5, Grade 6-8, and Grade 9-12. Cash prizes will be awarded and 1st place winners will have their design made into a piece of jewelry the design gets to keep! Entry deadline is 1/31/20. Forms for the contest are available in our school office.
