Updates and Information
Dear Families,
It was so great to see so many of you Monday for packet pick up. Every family received the 3 weeks worth of packets, but remember to implement the suggested packet, activities, and links I share how you see fit. I do not in anyway know how this is impacting each of you and am truly here to support you in any capacity I can. I have loved the videos and pictures many of you have sent via text and/or email. Also, never hesitate to email me with questions you may have.
Below, I am sending a photo of a letter written to you from your child's music teacher, Mrs. Haakons. Feel free to utilize the information she has included as you choose. I also am so excited that many of you have accessed and are utilizing EPIC! I emailed each of you an invite and it basically provides you with an on-line library. In turn, this makes many books available to you and your child to take AR tests, but also just to enjoy reading on a daily basis.
I miss your children and our classroom every day. And it has also become apparent to me that I truly love what I do, being a classroom teacher. Please give your child a hug from me and let them know I think of them every day. And remember, my job is to help you, not overwhelm you, as much as I can during this time.
Also, I would love to hear from your children through writing if they choose to. We could be Pen Pals! I just placed an Amazon order for a 200 piece stationary set. I look forward to writing to your child.

Clever & Freckle Link:
I have embedded a link to Clever below. I emailed families this morning with the login information and the link as well. This will allow your child to continue using AR (Accelerated Reader), a program that allows your child to take comprehension reading tests on the computer.
Starfall Info:
I am going to share with you our school site license username and password to get full access of www.starfall.com if you are able to. You just login with the username and password once on the site. The username is bakkesb@puyallup.k12.wa.us and the password is northwood. I am also including a link below to access "mystery science." They have fun grade level lessons.
