eLearning: Thank you for your patience and support with eLearning. Our teachers are making great effort to provide meaningful and fun learning experiences for your children, while still covering important content. eLearning assignments will be due when we return on March 30. Teachers are available between 9-3 through this Friday, March 20, to support in any way we can. It is important for students can stay caught up with their learning so we can hit the ground running upon our return. We will communicate any changes or updates to that plan as we see how these closures and restrictions unfold in the coming days.
Science Fair, Book Fair, & Spring Family Night: We anticipate rescheduling these fun family events. More info to come as we follow guidance from local and state health agencies.
PTO News: PTO is looking for volunteers to help with Spring Picture Day (April 3) and Field Day (May 21). Please let them know of your interest through the Thorntown PTO facebook page or email them at thorntownpto@yahoo.com. Our next meeting is on Tuesday, March 31 at 3:00 PM.
Free Shot Clinic: On April 17, the Boone County Health Department will offer a free shot clinic for 5th graders moving into 6th grade. Take advantage of this convenience with updating school vaccines. More info coming soon.
