Bobby Flay did not start out as an outstanding chef. He started as a fill-in bus boy at his dad's new business partner's restaurant. He worked his way up quickly to becoming an assistance to the head chef. His father's business partner was so impressed by Bobby's skills, that he sent Flay to a French Culinary Institute in New York City. He made his contributions to the food world b creating his own unique style of American Southwestern foods using chiles, avocados, and beans. He become notoriously known for his world famous steak rub from his first restaurant Mesa Grille. To this very day, Bobby Flay is continuously debuting on Food Network hosting shows and even starring in 13 shows, where 8 are still on air.

Bobby Flay's World Famous Steak Rub
Ingredients
1 cup ancho chili powder
1/3 cup Spanish paprika
3 tablespoons ground dried oregano
3 tablespoons ground coriander
3 tablespoons dry mustard
1 tablespoon ground cumin
1 tablespoon kosher salt
1 tablespoon ground black pepper
2 teaspoons chile de arbol, optional
Directions
Whisk together all ingredients. Store rub in a container with a tight fitting lid in a cool, dark, place.
