High School Attendance Reminders:
A friendly reminder that 1st hour begins at 7:30 am. Students should plan to be at school by 7:25 so they can be in class on time so they don't miss out on learning opportunities. In addition, students should do their best to get to every class on time. Tardies over 5 minutes will be counted as an absence. Research shows that attendance is an important factor in student achievement and good attendance can open up multiple opportunities for them later in their school careers!
As a reminder, students that accumulate 15 or more absences in a class may be subject to earning a D-- in that class (rather than the letter grade potentially earned). This will impact their GPA and other in-school and extracurricular activities.
Students will be able to earn rewards for being in school and on time consistently throughout the month of October! Please continue to show Godwin PRIDE by being disciplined to be on time!
STEM Family Night
Gold Cards
How can I earn a Gold Card?
Students can earn their Gold Card by doing the following each semester:
3.5 GPA for the semester
3 or less absences
3 or less incidences
Congratulations to every student that earned one. Our next Gold Cards will be handed out in January!

Community School Coordinator
September 20-24th is Community School Coordinator appreciation week.
Community School Coordinators work diligently to create and manage the partnerships that allow students to learn and thrive. They create a strong, purposeful bridge between schools and communities, and it is their hard work that push this movement forward. They deserve recognition and appreciation for all the work they do! #CoordinatorsRock
