Haddonfield Sun Article
Last week, news reporter for the Haddonfield Sun, Brigit Bauma, came into 3K to learn more about our flexible seating. Brigit had a chance to see our flexible seating in action. She talked to the students and took pictures of the classroom. We were very proud to have our article published in this week's edition of the Haddonfield Sun. Please read our article below and check out some of the students' thoughts about flexible seating!
Indian King Tavern
3K apprentice tradesmen had a great time visiting The Indian King Tavern. The Inn Keeper explained the daily activities of the tavern where visitors came to eat, sleep, and converse. As apprentices, students were able to see different responsibilities and jobs that their trades had in Colonial Haddonfield. We also learned about the historical significance of the Indian King Tavern, as it was an essential meeting place to discuss the foundation of New Jersey's government.
Science Outside With The Gardening Club!
3K scientists had a wonderful time bringing our science class knowledge outside! Students worked with the Gardening Club to plant new herbs, flowers, fruits, and vegetables into our Tatem garden. Students also helped by watering and weeding our gardens. Students could see how our studies of the plant cycle, seed adaptations, and plant growth works in our own Tatem garden.
