Eagle Expo

Thank you for stopping by our Eagle Expo this past week! Your students had a blast showing off all they have been learning this year. We love having you in the building, and seeing the joy our students receive from your praise and attention is the best! Thank you also to the teachers who put so much into their students to help them grow!

Pray for our Confirmation class

Many of our 7th and 8th grade students will receive the sacrament of Confirmation at 5pm mass this weekend at St. Eugene. Please pray for the Holy Spirit to come upon them, that they turn to God daily to guide them throughout their lives.

Come Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful and enkindle in them the fire of your love.

Send forth your Spirit and we shall be created; and You shall renew the face of the earth.

1st & 2nd Grade Spring Music Program

Join us for a fun musical performance in the gym on Tuesday, April 25th beginning at 6:15pm. Student performers should arrive by 6pm. Contact Mrs. Mejia with questions

Around the Arch

Please Pray For...

Former St. Eugene pastor, Father Joseph Jacobi, was admitted to the hospital last week, where it was discovered that he has a mass on his brain that is affecting his vision. He has been consulting with a neurosurgeon. More details will be shared via his CaringBridge site as they become available. Other than the impaired vision, Fr. Jacobi feels good. Know that Blessed Stanley Rother is someone that Father Jacobi loves deeply. Let us pray that Blessed Stanley will intercede for him, and that Christ will provide a miracle to heal Father Jacobi. Blessed Stanley Rother, pray for our dear friend.

Please pray for the mother of Elbin Gonzalez who passed away this week in Guatemala. Eternal Rest grant unto them, oh Lord, and let Perpetual Light shine upon her. Elbin is our school custodian and a parishioner. If you would like to contribute to a fund to help offset his travel expenses, contact the school or church office,

Please pray for Deacon Gaffney's mom, Mary Gaffney, who passed away this week. She went peacefully. Eternal Rest grant unto them, oh Lord, and let Perpetual Light shine upon her. | Please pray for Stacy Hughes, cousin of Mrs. Goldsworthy and of Mrs. Ruffin. She has been diagnosed with stage 3 cancer. | Please pray for the intentions of the Holy Father, as well as those of your family and friends. | Please pray for the healing and comfort of Sasha, granddaughter of CSSE friend Belva Neal.

If you would like to include something in the Prayer Requests section, please contact Kim Hattaway at media@steugeneschool.org.
