Every parent, teacher and staff member is a part of Starship and it is essential that Starship represent both programs and the entire community. There are lots of places for parents to get involved and it is exciting to explore the opportunities to come together in these uncertain times to support the campus. Our first Starship meeting will be in early September.
Wednesday Enrichments and Asynchronous Learning
Families in the Parent Participation model are invited to collaborate with the classroom teacher and administration to share you talents and knowledge with students across the school. This is a great opportunity to develop multicultural lessons, Author -Illustrator books and activities.
Mandarin Immersion instructional assistant will deliver literacy lessons by grade level along with Chinese crafts and music.
These enrichments are still in development and will be shared with our community in the near future. Each Wednesday classroom teachers will be planning lessons and collaborating with their colleagues.
Due to starting school on a Wednesday, this FRIDAY AUGUST 21 will be the only Friday asynchronous day. The classroom teacher will share more the first two days of school.
