Principal's Message
We are asking ALL families to take some time to verify and update all emergency contact information listed for your child. To help accommodate this request, we have created a form in PowerSchool. The form is titled Emergency Contacts. To access this form in PowerSchool from a computer or laptop:
- Log into PowerSchool using your parent account
- Select Forms from the left side navigation menu.
- This will bring you to a list of available forms. Select the one titled EMERGENCY CONTACTS and supply the necessary information.
This form can also be accessed through the PowerSchool Mobile App. To access the form in the app:
- Open the app
- Click the three dots ( ... ) on the bottom right of the app screen.
- Select Forms
- Open the Form that says 'Emergency Contacts
Please note, it is very important that we have at least 2 emergency contacts for each student. These emergency contacts should be people who do not directly reside with the student.
Thank you.
Parent Survey
Dear Parents,
We invite your participation in a joint survey conducted by Gateway Regional, National Park, Parkview, Wenonah, and Woodbury Heights schools. The partnership between schools and families supports student achievement and other key educational outcomes. An important first step in building these partnerships is measuring families' attitudes and perceptions about their children's schools. Through the data collected, we hope to better understand the needs of our families and how to build more effective partnerships with them. Survey questions were selected from the Panorama Education "Family-School Relationships Survey" question set. You may participate anonymously. For questions or concerns, please reach out to Dr. Amy Mount at amount@gatewayhs.com. This survey will close on December 19th, 2022.

AP Computer Science is for YOU
You and your family can learn more by attending a live webinar about AP CSA on Wednesday, December 7, 2022, from 8–9 p.m. ET.
We know students have new and different ways of learning, and have aspirations for their futures. Schools across the country are offering a broader range of AP courses to match students’ interests. In most classes, you’re told what to study. But taking AP CSA is different. In AP CSA:
- You choose the topic to study and design a project around it. Topics/projects can range from creating a game that advises young people about protecting their mental health to an interactive app that provides a museum tour.
- You learn by doing and exploring what you love through teamwork, projects, research, and creative thinking.
- You gain skills you can use in the real world, like coding and app design.
Register today to hear directly from students who took AP CSA and find out how this course can benefit you as you prepare to own your future, your way.
We look forward to seeing you at the live event!
The Food Drive is Here!
The annual Student Council Holiday Food Drive is underway. Our Holiday Drive supplies students and their families in our district with perishable and non-perishable foods to help supplement throughout the break, including a holiday meal. Students in grades 9-12 can find their donation boxes in the cafeteria and in front of the auditorium. Our last day for donations to be received is December 16th. The high school class with the most donations will win a prize from the Student Council before we leave for Winter Break. Check your class posters to see what you can donate!
