Reminder - Sign-Out
Please remind all students to sign out of their Google Accounts before signing-off or shutting down any device. We have had a few issues with iPads due to students and teachers being logged into their Google Accounts on the devices. This is also for security reasons on any device. If you or students stay logged on then the next person on the device can access your drive and files.
SPOTLIGHT #1
Lincoln second-grade teacher Katelyn Marotta put into practice information learned during our first E2U professional development training. As the photo to the right shows she had students creating Paper Slide Videos about their research on the layers of the rainforest.
THINGLINK
With Thinglink, you and/or students can embed audio, video and rich media links directly in images. Some ideas on how to use it in the classroom include:
1. Interactive Reports
2. Identification - Use tags to identify parts
3. Make visuals audible
4. Interactive Photo Collage
5. Use as an interactive research tool to inspire expository writing
Below you will find a Thinglink EDU Demo video and a sample.
