Principal's Message
March 22, 2019
Greetings Willink Families!
I hope this week's newsletter finds you well. It's pretty quiet in the building today for a Friday... it must have something to do with our staff and students staying home on this unusual "March Break." I hope the day off didn't catch anyone by surprise!
This past week was a celebration of our World Languages and it was great to see so many students and staff participate in each day's themes. These events are fun for all but also serve to promote a feeling of community within the building.
We also saw many of our students perform remarkable musical pieces at Monday night's Willink Coffeehouse that took place in the cafetorium. I was blown away by the diverse and wonderful display of musical talent and creativity, capped off by a percussion piece from our Webster Marching Band. Bravo!
As I finish my first full week in the building, I want to thank the many students, staff, and parents who have welcomed me and made me feel right at home. This is an incredible building and community and I'm honored to be a part of it.
I hope you all have a wonderful weekend and I look forward to seeing our students back in school on Monday,
Sincerely,
Brian Powers
Willink Principal
