Background and Personality
King Tut was in power for 10 years from 1332 BC-1323 BC. He was first in power at the age of 9 after is father passed away. He had a wife, Ankhesenamun, and 2 stillborn daughters. He was a boy king so most of the decisions were made by his vizier and future successor Ay.
Contributions to Egypt
The only building project he had was his own tomb located in the Valley of the Kings. When it was discovered in 1922 it was the most intact tomb ever discovered. He had no military expeditions because of his short term of power. He was also the youngest pharaoh of Egypt.
Downfall
King Tut died at the age of 19 in the year 1323 BC. The cause of his death was 2 diseases, Malaria and Köhler disease II. After his death Egypt since he had 2 stillborn daughters his vizier, Ay, gained power.
